How might we delight already happy consumers with the Hatch Rest V2?

Collaborated with all of the wonderful people at Hatch, as well as Studio Red for mechanical engineering, and an industrial design consultant.

The Challenge

Hatch is updating the Rest nightlight and sound machine to use Wi-Fi connection rather than Bluetooth connection. While we’re at it, how can we build in features and functionality that will delight consumers for years to come.

The Result

The Hatch Rest + is a second generation nightlight and sound machine. It addressed existing consumer feedback and delivered benefits they hadn’t even asked for yet.
